Marking The Foundation's 1st Anniversary

Tomorrow, 6th October 2012, marks the first anniversary of the official launch of The Ted Simon Foundation at Coventry Transport Museum in the UK. It's also the 39th anniversary of Ted's departure from London in 1973 on the journey that would become immortalized as Jupiter's Travels. To coincide with the first anniversary we're delighted to announce that the Foundation is extending its support to a further 32 Jupiter's Travellers. Read more

Foundation marks 2012 New Year with announcement of 12 new Jupiter's Travellers

The Ted Simon Foundation is delighted to begin the New Year with the announcement that 12 more independent adventurers have been selected as Jupiter's Travellers. They join the 16 unveiled at the Foundation's launch on October 6th last year, and will benefit from mentoring relationships with the Foundation's Committee of Advisors. Read more

Launch Event A Great Success

Marking the 38th anniversary of the beginning of Jupiter's Travels on 6th October 1973, the official launch of The Ted Simon Foundation took place last Thursday evening at Coventry Transport Museum. The special event was attended by over 130 guests, some of whom had travelled from Ireland, France, the USA and even as far afield as Chile. Read more

On Tuesday evening, motorcycle traveller and accomplished author Carla King interviewed Ted Simon on the SideStand Up radio show. Ted talked about the origins of the Foundation, his vision of how the Foundation will help Jupiter's Travellers transform their experiences into something of value for the world to enjoy, and the launch event taking place on 6th October.
